Hello edit

I am new In Wikipedia. Can You Help Me to add Information to some Wikipedia page Slukman.hakem (talk) 06:48, 22 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Yes why not. But going through your recent contributions, it appears you are desperate to prove your descendancy without any proof whatsoever. Even I belong to the royal tribes of Arab, but I have no evidence, so I can't claim without any reference that I belong to such and such tribe/clan. So it's better to understand that and keep the thought to yourself. If you believe you are the descendant of Abu Talib, that's totally alright, just don't add it to articles, since it will be removed. Peace be upon you. Categories edit

Hello, Emir Shane,

On Wikipedia, categories are used to group pages with similar subjects for articles, templates, files and other categories. They are typically not used in User space and are never for the use of one specific editor. Please do not create categories for your personal use as all categories need to fit into Wikipedia's category hierarchy and can not be outside this hierarchy. That is, all categories need to be in other categories for the system to work and for editors and readers to be able to find information.

If you have questions about the use of categories or other aspects of editing on Wikipedia, please bring them to the Teahouse. Thank you. Liz Read! Talk! 18:48, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for the heads up Liz, I knew I messed up as soon as I published the page and saw the sub-category forming an infinite loop. I'll keep these things in mind. Happy editing :D Emir Shane (talk) 19:08, 26 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Please remove speed deletion edit

That page List of deputy leaders in Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly was important for politics Jeyadharasan (talk) 16:02, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia is not a place to promote politics or any type of propaganda. It is a place to share encyclopaedic knowledge about a vast number of things. If you believe the article you created directly in the mainspace was important, please create a draft article, cite sources, and submit it for creation at the Articles for creation (AfC) dashboard. Emir Shane (talk) 16:06, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion edit

You should not be tagging articles for speedy deletion as you have insufficient experience or judgment. I just deleted two articles you tagged because I agreed that they were deletable per WP:A7, but you are multi-tagging in an abusive manner, using G11, G2, A1, A11, and no doubt others, without thought or reason. Stop tagging completely until you are much more experienced and you understand the criteria better.--Bbb23 (talk) 17:06, 28 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

I'll definitely pay heed to your advice and improve my judgement. I'll stop CSD tagging articles (except the very obvious one's from now on) until I am more experienced. Thanks. Emir Shane (talk) 03:57, 29 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
Wikipedia's technical logs indicate that this user account has been or may be used abusively. It has been blocked indefinitely from editing to prevent abuse.

Note that multiple accounts are allowed, but not for illegitimate reasons, and any contributions made while evading blocks or bans may be reverted or deleted.
If you think there are good reasons why you should be unblocked, you should review the guide to appealing blocks, and then appeal your block by adding the following text below this notice: {{unblock|Your reason here ~~~~}}. Note that anything you post in your unblock request will be public, so you may alternatively use the Unblock Ticket Request System to submit an appeal if it contains information that must be private.

Administrators: Checkusers have access to confidential system logs not accessible by the public or by administrators due to the Wikimedia Foundation's privacy policy. You must not loosen or remove this block, or issue an IP block exemption, without consulting with a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee. Administrators who undo checkuser blocks without permission from a checkuser or the Arbitration Committee may be summarily desysopped.

Request reason:

Why am I blocked in the first place?? I have never vandalized Wikipedia, in contrast I help fight vandalism. Refer to me any of my edit which has been unconstructive. I have no idea why I'm being blocked in the first place. Emir Shane (talk) 19:44, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. Yamla (talk) 20:52, 30 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Hello, I am Emir Shane, a Patroller who usually partakes in maintenance related works of Wikipedia, most evidently, reverting Vandalism and warning the user. Yesterday I was editing a discussion I started at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents, while all of a sudden I saw that I was blocked from editing. Now,

  • I can guarantee that the block is not necessary because my contributions as a Patroller has been totally constructive. In fact I tried to prevent Vandalism as much as possible. If you go through my contributions and investigate any diff, you'll not find a single unconstructive edit.
  • I was amazed to see allegations of me editing abusively, was that because I was CSD tagging articles? Whatever the reason may be, if you see the content of the pages which I've CSD tagged, I'm sure if not me, someone else would've done it instead.
  • I have never tripped the edit filter, but have been polite and respectful to my fellow editors wherever possible. I partook in discussions and helped and asked for help and opinions of other editors. I liked designing userboxes so I helped at Wikipedia talk:Userboxes/Ideas. I partook in deletion discussions where I thought that inputs of other editors were necessary. I warned vandals, reported them at Wikipedia:Administrator intervention against vandalism and got them away from harming WP. I opened investigations at Wikipedia:Sockpuppet investigations to report sockpuppetry of different users. I joined the Wikipedia:WikiProject Guild of Copy Editors and participated in the March Backlog elimination drive where I copyedited and improved articles. I never got in a edit war, nor had I any conflict of interest in my edits.

Now is this what a vandal would do? All I tried to do was to improve Wikipedia in whichever way possible. To add some original research here, you know I uninstalled my Instagram, my Facebook because I was being distracted and I thought that instead of wasting time on social media let's do something productive like improving Wikipedia. And now I myself am blocked. I request a thorough review of my contributions. See for yourself if I ever damaged Wikipedia in all my 1000+ edits. I've been good and have tried to prove it for so long. Please judge me fairly, take into consideration every aspect of my contributions to Wikipedia and my fellow editors. Have a good day/night. Dear --jpgordon𝄢𝄆𝄐𝄇. I will be completely honest. I am a sock puppet of Enormous Efrit. But for the record, I didn't interfere in any area for which Enormous Efrit was blocked. EE was blocked for repeatedly creating a page called 'Berozgaar Professors', but after the block I realised my limitations and always tried to improve Wikipedia. This will be the last of my explanations. I have not done any damage and have tried to improve WP. Shall I propose a unblock request again, or should I leave Wikipedia altogether? One other thing, one of the sockpuppet account was called 'Deepfried Troll', at the time of creating that account, I wasn't aware of the username policy, after reading the policy I even asked an administrator if I could change my username because I meant no harm. You can see the interaction at that account's talk page. Emir Shane (talk) 03:43, 31 March 2022 (UTC)Reply
