Welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions, but in one of your recent edits, it appears that you have added original research, which is against Wikipedia's policies. Original research refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist; it also encompasses combining published sources in a way to imply something that none of them explicitly say. Please be prepared to cite a reliable source for all of your contributions. You can have a look at the tutorial on citing sources. Thank you. SounderBruce 00:59, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply

I included sources for all my edits. Which change are you referring to? Emb27 (talk) 01:15, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
It wasn't OR, at least as far as I can tell (especially given that one paragraph was directly copied from the source--try not to do that), but I'm having trouble figuring out where the second paragraph is coming from. If you could add a page number to the citation, that would be appreciated. Thanks, and welcome to Wikipedia :) PersusjCP (talk) 01:33, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
Sorry, I'm new. Thanks for the help! It's page 27 in the record, but that's the 34th page of the PDF. Should it be cited as page 27 or page 34? Emb27 (talk) 01:41, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
That's totally fine. I usually go with whatever is the written page so it is consistent across different mediums. (so 27 in this case) PersusjCP (talk) 02:04, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
(And, I might add, I don't know what you are interested on editing on WP, but if you want to continue to edit articles about WA state, feel free to look at Wikiproject Washington and if you are interested in further editing about Indigenous peoples, feel free to check out Wikiproject Indigenous peoples of North America. Thanks for the information! I've been doing some research on the Quileute tribe's history lately so I figured I'd start adding what I've found to WP. Emb27 (talk) 02:41, 25 June 2024 (UTC)Reply
