Immigration policy of Trump

edit

Hi - I noticed that you made some large edits to this article. I've removed them since they had some issues, which I'll go into below:

You make mention of sourcing, however none of the sourcing is in the article - with any topic you must have reliable sources to back up the claims. This is especially important with a highly controversial topic like Trump and immigration policies. Since this section looked like it was primarily about one source, you need to make sure that you have enough sourcing to also show where the researcher's work has had enough coverage to highlight in that much detail.

It also looked like there was some original research in the section, which would be any claims, conclusions, or theories that may not be explicitly stated in the source material. On Wikipedia we can only summarize content that has already been explicitly stated in reliable source by an authority. You also should not insert any opinion words like "intriguing" - this leads to another point, as this seems to be written to argue a specific point.

These would need to be addressed before re-adding any content to the article. I think that it would also be good to bring up any new changes on the article's talk page before adding them, as this is an incredibly controversial article and as such, the writing and sourcing need to be as strong as possible.
