A Guaranteed Uelogy

edit

A tag has been placed on A Guaranteed Uelogy, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the page and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Finngall 19:22, 19 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

One suggestion: You can create a subpage of your user page (User:Eloc Jcg/Workspace, for example), work on your article there, then copy the results to the new page when you're done. If you don't want to keep a subpage around when you are done, you can request that it be deleted by placing a {{db-userreq}} tag on the page. Alternatively, you can work on the article offline with Notepad or some such text editor.
I can't speak for others, but my take on placing speedy deletion tags is that I'm not a psychic, so I can only base a determination what is actually there, not what is going to be there. I do keep an eye on such articles, though, and I have happily removed those deletion tags if enough constructive content is added to the page such that the tag is no longer warranted. Heaven Shall Burn tour

edit

Why have you reverted my changes? The 2006 tour and 2007 festivals are in the past. LaHaine 07:11, 21 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hmm, not sure how that happened, I only tried to move the flag to make it neater. I think I might have clicked the history and then did something which accidently reverted it, believe me, I had no intention of reverting your edit. Srry.--§ Eloc § 01:29, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Chemicals articles

edit

Hi Eloc Jcg

Thanks for your edits to chemical articles. I noticed that you have been adding state symbols (e.g. (s), (aq)) to the chemical formulae of some chemicals such as perchloric acid. There is no need to do so, because the physical state is noted in "appearance". Furthermore, the data for perchloric acid is for the liquid, not the aqueous solution. --Rifleman 82 23:23, 8 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Firstly, all acids are considered (aq), no exceptions to that. And secondly, the state of matter is most commonly put into the chemical formula.--§ Eloc § 20:18, 9 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
No, acids are not considered (aq) if they are not in a solution of water. For example, boric acid is a solid. Do you think it should be (aq)? The state of matter may be placed with chemical formulae, but need not be so. Whatever the case may be, it is irrelevant in the chembox because the appearance has a separate field. --Rifleman 82 01:27, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
If you wish to pursue this matter, please discuss further at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Chemicals#State symbols in chemboxes. --Rifleman 82 11:16, 10 October 2007 (UTC)Reply
Naw, I'm good.--§ Eloc § 02:13, 12 October 2007 (UTC)Reply

Mind explaining more how it was vandalism please? — Eloc 21:10, 12 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

You inserted the picture Kirby in Vatican in the Vatican City article, under foreign relations. The picture is a stuffed doll in front of the Vatican. Kinda reminds me of the old prank of taking a garden gnome and taking pictures of it in front of famous world landmarks. In any event, it's more of a Kirby picture than a Vatican picture, and I'm sure there are plenty of more appropriate, neutral pictures without stuffed animals in front. Maybe you didn't notice it. --Anietor (talk) 01:26, 13 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:User_Eloc_Jcg_Redirectltr.png. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. Chris G Bot (talk) 00:26, 30 July 2009 (UTC)Reply
