Hello, Elenipanoushis, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with Wiki Education; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Hi Elenipanoushis! I noticed that you recently marked an edit as minor that may not have been. "Minor edit" has a very specific definition on Wikipedia—it refers only to superficial edits that could never be the subject of a dispute, such as typo corrections or reverting obvious vandalism. Any edit that changes the meaning of an article is not a minor edit, even if it only concerns a single word. Please see Help:Minor edit for more information. Thank you. glman (talk) 14:25, 29 November 2023 (UTC)Reply

Your contributions at John Bauters

edit

As I noted in this edit, content related to Emeryville's government structure was moved to Emeryville, California. I moved the content because it is overly detailed and more relevant to the city page, not the page of one mayor. If you still think that section should be included, please discuss at the talk page. Let me know if you have any questions. Wracking talk! 18:13, 13 December 2023 (UTC)Reply

Hello, I'm Wracking. I wanted to let you know that I removed one or more external links you added to the main body of John Bauters. Generally, any relevant external links should be listed in an "External links" section at the end of the article and meet the external links guidelines. Links within the body of an article should be internal Wikilinks. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. Please stop re-adding the same section

Elenipanoushis, please review the history of the page before adding content you have previously added. Edits like this are repetitive and unconstructive. If you are confused, please ask them by visiting my talk page, asking a WikiEd helper, or asking your professor. Wracking talk! 22:51, 14 December 2023 (UTC)Reply
