Dear Elad Afek,

One of Wikipedia's core principles is that information must be attributed to verifiable reliable sources. Another core principle is that articles must be written from a neutral point of view.

The phrase "Self-hating Jew" may be used elsewhere than the US and the UK, but unless a reliable source says so it cannot be included in the article.

Likewise, your opinion that only "harsh" or "severe" critics of Israel are called "Self-hating Jews" is both contrary to the source in the article and at odds with reality in the US and the UK. The same is true of the phrase "solely because of their political views" — its use is supported by both the article's source and by objective reality, and your attempt to remove it appears to be the insertion into the article of your personal opinion.

If you think these are issues that need to be discussed with other editors of the article, please leave a message at Talk:Self-hating Jew, where everybody can see it and respond to it. Thank you. — Malik Shabazz (talk · contribs) 20:05, 12 March 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 22:01, 13 March 2008 (UTC)Reply
