Panama

edit

I have searched for other reliable sources and it doesn't state that Romanians have Visa Free Access to Panama. However if you can find me reliable source that's not from Timatic then I will be happy to place back Panama on the Visa Free List. The reason for me not wanting Timatic or IATA Visa Search engines as a source is because the validity is not accurate all of the time and sometimes the information is is not up to date even though another reliable source such as an Embassy or Foreign Ministry may state to the contrary.

One more thing if you want to leave a message leave it on profile. ThanksPryde 01 (talk) 07:39, 3 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Communication

edit

It would be good if you had communicated with me about Panama on the Visa Free List instead of you putting it there with the same source as I recommended you not putting there. I would have been happy to discuss this with you. I left a message and I allowed a the opportunity for you to discuss this matter through but you didn't. I will send an email to Europe Direct and I will seek clarification on this. If it happens to be that Europe Direct says no Visa has been lifted for Romanian Citizens then I will have to remove it. I will provide the email as well as a reputable source. I am going to remove Panama off until we get a clear answer on this.Pryde 01 (talk) 03:33, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Panama

edit

Do you of any movements from Panama to lifts its Visas for Romanians? How did you lead to that conclusion about Panama lifting Visas? You would have got that information from somewhere or some person. I do not think you would have made this up for nothing if you know what I mean.Pryde 01 (talk) 01:27, 12 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Moldova

edit

I need you too add Moldova on the Visa Free/VOA Map for the Romanian EU Passport Section. Here is the source stating that the Republic of Moldova will lift its Visas for Romanians by the end of the week. [1]Pryde 01 (talk) 14:03, 15 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

By the way, good news! Romanians (EU Citizens) will not need Visas to enter Moldova on Friday 18th September. Source: [2]

I wil place this source on Moldova in the Visa Free List. Thanks for updating the map!Pryde 01 (talk) 14:26, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Panama

edit

Shouldn't we wait until we hear some confirmation? Unless you can provide me a source from the Romanian Foreign Ministry. I am not disagreeing with you. But I would like to see a confirmation from some media article, Foreign Ministry etc.Pryde 01 (talk) 14:26, 17 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Panama Visa Update

edit

Romanians and Bulgarians do not need a Visa to enter Panamanian Territory as of 19 September 2008. The source is from the EU's Press Service: [3]

Can you add Panama to the map for the Romanian EU Passport and the Bulgarian EU Passport pages?Pryde 01 (talk)

Kosovo

edit

I have added the Romanian EU Passport as well or any other EU or other country Passport for that matter as Kosovo allows Visa Free Access to any country and obviously the EU too. Here is the source: [4]

We can leave Kosovo on there and not take it off as I have included the source "Visit Kosova" on the Romanian EU Passport, regardless of what EU State recognizes Kosovo or not that has no bearing on the Visa Free Travel that Kosovo so openly allows to anyone.

Iran

edit

I need you to add Iran on the map as Visa on Arrival. Here is the source: [5]. Iran for Bulgaria should be added as Visa on Arrival as well. I am going to add Iran onto the list but list it as Visa on Arrival with the source I have provided you. I have listed Visa on Arrival for Iran under the References header. I have provided the source now Iran should stay on the Romanian Passport as well as Bulgaria. Pryde 01 (talk) 01:59, 7 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

With Iran you highlighted the wrong country. Here is where Iran should be highlighted:

You need to remove Iraq and highlight Iran

Japan

edit

Who moved Japan? Someone who is uninformed and did not bother to check for a source, there are plenty of sources saying that Japan is Visa Free for Romania. I provided a source on the Romanian EU Passport section of 'Asia'. The source comes from the Foreign Ministry of Japan: [7]

EU Passport 'Turkey 90 Days'

edit

Can you provide the source of Turkey allowing Visa Free Access to EU Passport holders for up to 90 Days? My previous understanding was that Turkey's Visa regime is discriminatory and Romania is the next in line of the very few EU States to enjoy Visa Free Access to Turkey for up to 90 Days. The Turkish Government has approved but will be enacted this this year soon. There is already a source for Romania's enjoyment of Visa Free Access to Turkey for up to 90 Days without a Visa.Pryde 01 (talk) 11:14, 6 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Turkey

edit

I think we should remove Turkey off the EU Passports Visa Free List until Turkey has enacted the law allowing Romanians Visa Free Access. Yes I know there is a source I provided the first source from Mediafax. We should not put any particulars until first we can provide a source that confirms the action has been enacted in the strictest of terms. When Turkey has enacted the law Turkey can be shaded darker blue (Visa Free) and list the descriptor as Visa Free. I am going to remove Turkey off the EU Passport for the second reason and that is most EU States do not have Visa Free access to Turkey. When the entire EU gets Visa Free access to Turkey not Visa on Arrival (VOA) then we can add it in the EU Passport to represent the entire EU not just certain EU States. We follow the grouped procedure as usual.

Mediafax Source:

Turkey Decides To Lift Visas For Romanians Foreign Affairs Minister

Can you please tell this tosser that he should stop removing Kosovo? I have provided the source stating Visa Free Access to Kosovo from the Visit Kosova website. I have a source dammit. Warn him to stop pissing around with sources that are valid and removing them as he should not be. Also for the final time please put Kosovo back on the Visa Free list for Romanian EU Passport and use the same valid source I used before which was Visit KosovaPryde 01 (talk) 22:27, 8 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Travel to Turkey with no Visa for up to 90 Days

edit

Can you highlight Turkey in the Romanian Passport's section under the subheading Europe in dark blue to signify that Romanian EU Citizens do not need visas to enter Turkey for up to 90 Days on Ordinary Passports. Diplomatic and other Special Romanian EU Passports have not needed visas for up to 90 Days in the first place.

Consider yourself lucky very few countries in the world have Visa Free Access to Turkey for up to 90 Days e.g. New Zealand Passports do not need a Visa for example. Australian ( I am Australian we get a multiple entry Visa on Arrival for up to 3 months)

Yes its a good picture. But we should remove the bottom picture. The older Romanian Passport. Removal of all Passports Visa Free and VOA Travel Information

edit

I am so fucked off about this removal. It is totally unacceptable. I left my complaint.

See Source: Passport Removal and Proposal.

I want to see that person who vandalized yours, mine, everyone's hard work who contributed to this project. Banned off this site for good. This is bullshit. As you saw I worked so hard in finding sources that were valid' for example I had many sources that came from Embassies, Consulates and Tourism Websites of the country involved. All of my sources were authenticated and consistently true. I saw your comment and we need to do something about this. I am so bloody angry at the person who ruined this project.

I work in the Travel and Tourism Industry, I am from Australia and I have an Australian Passport as a result of being from there and I need to know what changes happen in the Australian Passport section so I know whether to get a Visa or not. It is vital because I work in the Travel and Tourism Industry that I keep up to date with any travel information and important changes. Without these changes and Wikipedia is a good start to this information I do not know where I would go to seek such important information and updates in the Travel and Tourism Industry. When I came onto the Romanian EU Passport section I was caught by surprise, I went onto the Australian Passport section and I was too suprised and angry for both Passports and other Passports that they were deleted off without consent or any prior knowledge.

I left my complaints on these two people. These two people are the ones that destroyed our project that we have longed worked hard to improve and to complete overtime. You need to post your comment and complaints on these two people's accounts. These two people are responsible for the damage of our projects.Pryde 01 (talk) 06:14, 26 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Hello. It appears that you have been canvassing—leaving messages on others' talk pages to notify them of an ongoing community decision, debate, or vote in order to influence the discussion on Talk:Passport. While friendly notices are allowed, they should be limited and nonpartisan in distribution and should reflect a neutral point of view. Please do not post notices which are indiscriminately cross-posted, which espouse a certain point of view or side of a debate, or which are selectively sent only to those who are believed to hold the same opinion as you, such as you did here. References and Organization in Romanian EU Passport

edit

I have changed it and organized it to a high level of standard. Here is the Romanian EU Passport link reflecting my changes:

Visa Requirements For Romanian Citizens

I also removed some countries because they did not have a source. However if you can find such sources for the countries I removed then you can put them back on the Visa Free or VOA (Visa on Arrival) lists.

Can you reply back to me and tell me what you think of my work? Thanks! Pryde 01 (talk) 08:51, 10 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Update

edit

You can put those countries you listed on the Romanian EU Passport listings then. Yes I have read the source and it is correct.

However certain information on the Visa Free/VOA list is outdated on the Romanian Foreign Affairs Ministry Website. MAE has not updated some of their information especially the new Caribbean countries that dropped their visas for EU Citizens of the EU27. MAE I do not think is the most reliable up to date source, but on the other hand it has countries listed as Visa Free/VOA that I could not find other sources for.Pryde 01 (talk) 10:19, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

I would not use MAE as a reliable source. Most of the countries on the MAE Visa Free/VOA list that are outdated are proved wrong because of the Immigration, Consular sites tell that Romanians are entitled to Visa Free Access/VOA e.g. MAE says Timor Leste needs a Visa, which is not correct.

The source from Timor Leste immigration shows that any traveller do not need visas: Tourist and Business Visa

With the countries that you told me that are Visa Free or VOA can you provide the MAE.ro source? Do not let anyone judge the MAE.ro source as the sole reliability of all information. Only regard the sources that I gave on each country on the Visa Free and VOA lists as reliable and the sole sources for the information to be acknowledged. My sources are up to date and also reliable more reliable then MAE.ro at this present time.Pryde 01 (talk) 10:28, 11 February 2010 (UTC)Reply

Ministry of Foreign Affairs Romania - New Website

edit

I see that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Romania has developed a new website it very much looks far better then the last one. Much more modern and sophisticated. However I was having a look through the Visa free/VOA list for Romanian Citizens and that list is very outdated. The sources that have been provided on the Romanian Passport section in the Visa free/VOA list on Wikipedia are more reliable then what MAE.ro has to present at the moment - because the sources on the Romanian Passport section nearly all come from the Foreign Affairs/Immigration Department sources of those countries concerned. An interesting observation I have noted. Hopefully with MAE.ro and their very nice website will update their lists. Pryde 01 (talk) 15:14, 26 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

Thailand Visa on Arrival

edit

It states that Romanian EU Citizens will have Visa on Arrival granted on the 21st of November 2010. Is it possible if you can provide a source? I wouldn't suggest getting the source from Mae.ro it is not reliable at this time. Closer to the time or on the actual date it should provide this information on the Thai Embassy to Romania website. I had a look and it couldn't find anything as far I could see. It only stated that it is undertaking a tourist promotion initiative and that is to drop Visas for tourists from May 2010 to the middle of next year - Romania and all other countries can benefit from this, but that is not what I am talking about. I first saw this piece of news of the Financiarul.ro (English) version of the website. Cheers, AlexPryde 01 (talk) 04:49, 30 October 2010 (UTC)Reply

I haven't heard from you in a little while. I hope everything is well with you. Can you find a source about Thailand allowing Romanian EU Citizens to have Visa on Arrival for 15 days? I have been looking and the only one I could find was off Financiarul.ro.
