Speedy deletion of Jesus Trail edit

A tag has been placed on Jesus Trail, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G4 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be a repost of material that was previously deleted following a deletion debate, such as at articles for deletion. Under the specified criteria, where an article has substantially identical content to that of an article deleted after debate, and any changes in the content do not address the reasons for which the material was previously deleted, it may be deleted at any time.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. andy (talk) 11:17, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Restoring Jesus Trail edit

Hello! Please be advised that I removed the Speedy Delete tag on Jesus Trail. That article should never have been tagged, and its previous deletion via the AfD debate was, quite frankly, a very odd call (the administrator who deleted it ignored both the debate's consensus and the article's confirmed references). I also added templates to link the article to a pair of WikiProjects (WikiProject Israel and WikiProject Christianity), which should bring more people to the article. In the event you experience any further harassment, please feel free to contact me. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 12:39, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

AfD participation edit

Hey there! Two items: One, don't forget to sign your messages with four of these little squiggly "~" thingies. And, two, you can vote in the AfD -- just ID yourself as the article's author and explain why you feel the article deserves to remain. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 13:35, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Image:Jesus Trail - Mt Tabor.jpg edit

I am writing to inform you that I have deleted Image:Jesus Trail - Mt Tabor.jpg as it is clearly listed on an existing webpage as being copyrighted (the 22nd image found here). If you are in fact the owner of the copyright for this image, you can do two things to restore your image. You can a) write into our WP:OTRS to verify your identify and acknowledge you are the copyright owner and you are releasing the image under the terms of a free license or b) log onto your website and make a note that the image is released under a free license (right now there is a big "© Copyright" at the bottom of the page, meaning the image as it stands cannot be used here). Also, if you are in fact David Landis, why are you not using your other account, User:Dplandis? Abusing multiple accounts is forbidden here at Wikipedia. Also, I suggest that you read WP:COI and WP:SPA. Editing topics which you may be affiliated with is discouraged, and creating a wikipedia account for the sole purpose of promoting your real life ventures is a big no-no. If you'd like to become an active wikipedian (which I truely encourage), please consider ways to contribute that are not related to you personally. Wikipedia is not the same thing as facebook or myspace and should not be used for promotion. Thank you for your consideration in these matters. If you have any questions about any of this, feel free to ask me, or read through the "Help" link int he left navbar.-Andrew c [talk] 13:39, 2 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Congratulations! edit

Hey, I just found out that Jesus Trail survived the AfD. Congratulations! I am very happy that the article's notability is confirmed. Please feel free to call on me if any attempt is made to dislodge it from Wikipedia. Be well! Ecoleetage (talk) 19:08, 6 July 2008 (UTC)Reply
