College basketball team navboxes

Ejgreen77, I see that you've recently created a number of new college basketball team navboxes, e.g. Template:Jacksonville State Gamecocks men's basketball navbox. In recent weeks User:Jrcla2 has spearheaded an effort to standardize the form of these navboxes, running in parallel with the existing standard for college football team navboxes. See Template:Kansas Jayhawks men's basketball navbox for an example. We should all be synced up here using the same form. Jrcla2's form has my full endorsement and follows naturally from the existing consensus on the college football team navboxes. The forms you've advanced have a number of problems. If you have any issue with the form that Jrcla2 has standardized, we should discuss at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject College Basketball. Thanks for your efforts as always. Yes thank you for trying to create these navboxes. There are a few niche modifications that are different than the college football navboxes, mainly pertaining to championships:
  1. Only Helms Foundation, NIT, and NCAA championships should be bolded (regardless of when they were won...i.e. a modern-day NIT champ season should still be bolded). They do not get italicized if they won.
  2. Only NCAA Final Four seasons get italicized.
  3. The "|below =" should only be on there if a team has gotten to an NCAA Final Four and/or won the Helms, NIT or NCAA championship. Modify the "|below =" text to reflect what that team has accomplished (don't put "NCAA national championships in bold" if they've never won an NCAA national championship)
Any questions let me know. Jrcla2 (talk) 13:50, 7 November 2013 (UTC)

Template:Ouachita Baptist Tigers football navbox has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the template's entry on the Templates for discussion page. Jameboy (talk) 23:37, 18 November 2013 (UTC)
