Hello, Ecicar1 and welcome to Wikipedia! It appears you are participating in a class project. We encourage you to read our instructions for students. Your instructor or professor may wish to participate in either the School and University WikiProject or the Global Education Program. The Global Education Program is supported by the Wikimedia Foundation and offers official online and classroom support through the Ambassador Program.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your messages on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically insert your username and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or ask your question on this page and then place {{Helpme}} before the question.

Before you create an article, make sure you understand what kind of articles are accepted here. Remember: Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and while many topics are encyclopedic, some things are not.

It is highly recommended that you place this text: {{Educational assignment}} on the talk page of any articles you are working on as part of your Wikipedia-related course assignment. This will let other editors know this article is a subject of an educational assignment and should be treated accordingly.

We hope you like it here and encourage you to stay even after your assignment is finished! SarahStierch (talk) 23:16, 12 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

Re: Tripp's sandbox

edit

Hi and welcome to Wikipedia! I just wanted to let you know that I moved your page called Tripp's Sandbox to User:Ecicar1/Tripp's sandbox. There's no trouble or anything, but I noticed it was a sandbox that had accidentally been put into the "Article space". If you'd like to delete the page that I've moved (I see you've already made a new sandbox) go to it and add {{db-g7}} to the top line to tell Wikipedia administrator's that you request it be deleted. Hey Trip. My name is Luke Venable. I am the landscape architecture student that will be working with you on your project "Louisiana Aquatic Invasive Species Council and Advisory Task Force". If you have any information on your project that is readily available would you mind sending it to me so that I can get caught up on what your project is about. If you don't have that yet it's okay, just send it when it it available. I look forward to working with you this semester. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Lvenab6 (talkcontribs) 04:03, 26 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
