Thanks for your edits to the False Face Society. You have done a lot of work to improve the article. However, please take the time read Wikipedia's policies. Wikipedia is an encyclopedia, and articles are supposed to be encyclopedic in style. Some of your edits violated Wikipedia's Neutral Point of View policy by writing from the perspective of someone opposed to the sale of the masks. However valid this view is, articles aren't supposed to be written from a specific point of view. Also, I noticed you blanked this page. Wikipedia discourages users from removing content from their talk pages.--Bkwillwm (talk) 17:10, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I've done some edits to this article. I noticed that you introduced the Modern Conflicts section, maybe you could help me answer a question about it that I left on the talk page. Apwith (talk) 18:20, 19 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

Unspecified source for Image:Alson_Gibson.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Alson_Gibson.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 04:27, 6 January 2008 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Jusjih (talk) 04:27, 6 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for uploading File:Outcasts Album Cover.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Proposed deletion of Clan Mother edit

The article Clan Mother has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

This needs a total rewrite, per WP:TNT. See the flags up top. Leaving a note at the Indigenous Wikiproject to see if anyone thinks it's worth salvaging. Possibly any content worth saving could be merged and redirected to North American Indigenous elder? (Which is also not it good shape. At all.)

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. - CorbieVreccan 21:16, 30 November 2022 (UTC)Reply
