Spam in Cheops-ng edit

Hello, this is a message from an automated bot. A tag has been placed on Cheops-ng, by DarkAudit (talk · contribs), another Wikipedia user, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. The tag claims that it should be speedily deleted because Cheops-ng is blatant advertising for a company, product, group, service or person that would require a substantial rewrite in order to become an encyclopedia article.

To contest the tagging and request that administrators wait before possibly deleting Cheops-ng, please affix the template {{hangon}} to the page, and put a note on its talk page. If the article has already been deleted, see the advice and instructions at WP:WMD. Feel free to contact the bot operator if you have any questions about this or any problems with this bot, bearing in mind that this bot is only informing you of the nomination for speedy deletion; it does not perform any nominations or deletions itself. --Android Mouse Bot 2 13:36, 22 May 2007 (UTC)Reply

Removal of said page was complete unwarranted, I am unaffilliated with the tool makers and wrote the article as a network administrator. I can inform whoever made the final decision on removing the page that it is an invaluable tool for mapping networks in an easy visual way...

Speedy deletion nomination of User:E petersen/Alan flyng edit

A tag has been placed on User:E petersen/Alan flyng, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, product, group, service or person and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become an encyclopedia article. Please read the guidelines on spam as well as Wikipedia:FAQ/Business for more information. You may also wish to consider using a Wizard to help you create articles - see the Article Wizard.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Regarding your userspace draft of Alan Flyng edit

We generally allow userspace drafts, so I will allow the one you have for the moment. Please note, however, that no one can "vouch for" the importance of anyone or anything aside from significant coverage in reliable sources unaffiliated with the subject. If that type of sourcing for the subject does not exist, the subject is not an appropriate one for an article, period and end of story. If such sourcing does exist, you need to cite it before writing an article. Seraphimblade Talk to me 12:32, 15 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate this and as you can see on your page I have constructive ideas for bettering wikipedia as I believe in the free dissemination of ideas and concepts in an honest and responsible way done with integrity.
