Good job, keep up the good work in helping expanding the article on the FMWRC. If you need any help you may want to contact WP:WPMILHIST, which is the project in which the FMWRC falls under. Happy editing and feel free to contact me on my talk page, Sadads (talk) 11:19, 13 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Duly noted, and I've updated all my recent content with the citations. Thanks. --Dysonej (talk) 03:58, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

User page

edit

Now that you have done a fair amount of editing on Wikipedia, why don't you start your User page at User:Dysonej? User pages are a great place to learn a little bit about someone and also are a sign that a User have committed themselves to the project. This helps us identify who is here to invest time and who is just another "new" user. Thanks! Sadads (talk) 17:54, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply

Is there any standard protocol for a user page? Or just a little (whatever someone feels like posting-style) bio? --Dysonej (talk) 18:08, 17 August 2010 (UTC)Reply
Look how crazy mine is User:Sadads and look at User:Kumioko and then take a look at users like User:GVP Webmaster or User:Accotink2. It can be alot or a little, your choice, I just recommend having something to help people understand where you are coming from. Generally it becomes a workplace that shows what you are doing, where you are doing it, your interests etc. There is some good advice at Wikipedia:User pages as well, Sadads (talk)

United States Army's Family and MWR Programs

edit

This article looks really good. You may want to consider nominating it for Did you know…? so that it can appear on the main page. :) --LauraHale (talk) 22:24, 9 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

I appreciate it. I hadn't seen that section before, but I will investigate it. Thanks, again! Dysonej (talk) 18:17, 13 September 2011 (UTC)Reply

Page titles

edit

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give United States Army Family and Morale, Welfare and Recreation Command a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into United States Army's Family and MWR Programs. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history.

In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. I wasn't aware of the move function. Thank you for the heads up. I'll keep it in mind for the future. --Dysonej (talk) 19:36, 23 January 2012 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
