Fair use rationale for Image:Ph seal romblon.png

edit

Image:Ph seal romblon.png is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Save_Us_229 19:13, 30 December 2007 (UTC)Reply

File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:File-Dwight Noga.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. (ESkog)(Talk) 15:08, 21 July 2009 (UTC)Reply

Latest Score section of the Philippines national basketball team

edit

Hey man, I appreciate on what you've been doing in the RP Team article... I just want to inform you that I deleted the RP-Australian Goodwill Games in the Latest Scores section since the Australian team that toured Manila was not the Australia national basketball team but rather a Select Team from the Australian Basketball Association, a lower league in Australia (sort of their PBL version)... and the team is called the "Australian Great White Sharks" ...

Also, all the scores posted in the Latest Score section should only between the RP Team and foreign national teams whether if its in FIBA-sanctioned tournaments, invitational tournaments and exhibition games... as long as they're playing national teams... games between the RP Team and Select Teams or Club teams or Universities shouldn't be posted... its for uniformity and hopefully it will help the article get a "Good Article" or being "Featured" by Wikipedia admins...

Speedy deletion nomination of Dwight Noga

edit

A tag has been placed on Dwight Noga requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about a person or group of people, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, as well as our subject-specific notability guideline for biographies.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. — Σxplicit 04:29, 14 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
