October 2012 edit

Hello, I'm RobertG. I noticed that you recently made an edit to League of Nations that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thank you. --RobertGtalk 11:17, 2 October 2012 (UTC)Reply

There are at least two problems with your edit to Payphone (song). Firstly, you gave no sources, and no indication at all that the content you posted was significant enough to be included. You wrote "A version of the song without Wiz Khalifa's vocals was made", but "was made" by whom? By you? By some kid who posted it on an internet forum, or made a YouTube video of himself singing it? If it is significant then you need to provide reliable sources that show that it is. Secondly, giving the lyrics is a copyright infringement, unless the copyright owner has either released them into the public domain, or else released them under a free license compatible with Wikipedia's reuse terms. Hi, just saw your message, but JamesBWatson sums up the points I wanted to make. SpencerT♦C 19:45, 4 October 2012 (UTC)Reply
