Criminals as a subject for experimental science

This is a rough idea, just a primary thought that I would like to share. As we advance into this age of science and technology, we are in ever need of more material, discoveries, evidence based sciences to create better standards for any aspect of life. The one I will be focusing on ultimately is medicine. As you all might be knowing that all that you have been reading in your books, especially subjects like biology is a science completely based on experimental evidence. Almost every important discovery is based on an experimental evidence and not a hypothetical statement or study. To put it simply, the only way to determine the accuracy of your idea is to see if it’s working on live beings on which you can record the observations, see the results and collect the data, but since you cannot test on humans according to the suggesting laws, animal testing is done.
