In short, this situation has been discussed not once on wikipedia; the consensus is to keep elements articles as neutral as possible, and to focus them on fundamental properties. I recalled why did I revert your edits [1] [2]: (i) they were referenced to a dubious server h2oc.com which can be considered as company promotion; (ii) they had rather technical and specific focus for those general articles (local problems in Illinois and Missouri); (iii) household drain water contains all kind of chemicals, thus saying it corrodes copper is hardly informative.
