Motto of the Day Help Request April 2014

Motto of the Day (WP:MOTD) is in a state of emergency and really needs your help! There are not enough editors who are reviewing or nominating mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review, and this probably means that you will notice a red link or “This space for rent” as our mottos for the next weeks and months.

Please take a moment to review the nominations and nominate your own new mottos at Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/In review and Wikipedia:Motto of the day/Nominations/'Specials. Any help would be appreciated! MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 09:13, 29 April 2014 (UTC)

This message has been sent by pjoef on behalf of Motto of the Day to all editors of the English Wikipedia who are showing MOTD's templates on their pages, and to all the participants to MOTD: (page, template, and category).

Hello, I'm 331dot. I noticed that you recently removed some content from List of calendars without explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; I restored the removed content. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks! 331dot (talk) 23:05, 7 May 2014 (UTC)

hello, I am the only one that uses this computer and fyi, i know nothing of this person http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adolfo_Bautista, nor have i written any this about him, ever, nor would i ever have any reason or desire to. what a trip that i would be told that i have vandalized any thing by zero interaction. i have never even looked up that name until i received your erroneous message. So, just your clear,,,, who or what ever you are,, your so straight up WRONG. Ironic in my view that you stating that i did something i have not is you doing exactly what you have falsely accused me of doing..... although i never did...... Declined Speedy deletion of Sad Socrates effect

I've declined your A1 speedy deletion of Sad Socrates effect. While the article's notability is questionable, A1 does not apply as the article clearly does provide enough context to identify the subject. It also seems that you nominated it as A1 mere moments after creation, which is strongly discouraged, as the new pages patrol header says: "Articles should not be tagged for speedy deletion as having no context (CSD A1) or no content (CSD A3) moments after creation, as not all users will have added full content in their first revision;". Finally, it is also strongly encouraged that you go through the preliminaries of WP:BEFORE before you nominate any article. A search would have turned up references.
