edit

Hi Douger1936! I noticed that you have reverted to restore your preferred version of Peter Sotos several times. The impulse to undo an edit you disagree with is understandable, but I wanted to make sure you're aware that the edit warring policy disallows repeated reversions even if they are justifiable.

All editors are expected to discuss content disputes on article talk pages to try to reach consensus. If you are unable to agree at Talk:Peter Sotos, please use one of the dispute resolution options to seek input from others. Using this approach instead of reverting can help you avoid getting drawn into an edit war. Thank you. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 22:52, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

CarterLennon and now GorillaWarfare keep undoing a version and posting a version about a living person that emphasizes an arrest from 40 years ago. He has 30 some published books and been in a band for 20 years but you are emphasizing an arrest from long before I was born. That clearly goes against a neutral point of view. Read the version that was here before which just lists the work and the one you have posted. Douger1936 (talk) 23:03, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing certain pages (Peter Sotos) for edit warring.
During a dispute, you should first try to discuss controversial changes and seek consensus. If that proves unsuccessful, you are encouraged to seek dispute resolution, and in some cases it may be appropriate to request page protection.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please review Wikipedia's guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text to the bottom of your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 22:56, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
You need to discuss your concerns on the talk page, not edit war. I have blocked you from editing the page, since you seem unable to follow policy without a block in place. GorillaWarfare (she/her • talk) 22:57, 4 May 2024 (UTC)Reply
I replied on the talk page. But why would you keep this version which this person wrote 1 week ago as opposed to the version which was there for years? This version is clearly not neutral whereas the other version was. It basically just listed his works. Whether you like his art or not read the version that is there. It is not neutral.
