Gambia

edit

Ah lovely thanks. Nice to think of me. Yes Gambia is very developed on German wikipedia, we were missing articles like this. We've recently started the Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/Protected areas task force which attempts to improve coverage of all parks in Africa. I;ve drawn up templates for all of the Africa countries and will be filling them in and eventually hopefuly expanding them all beyond stubs. If you know anybody who is interested in joining to help out please let them know!! Regards The Bald One White cat 10:16, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Consider yourself lucky ;). I do tons of this stuff and go unrecognized, but that's fine with me. Keep up the good work. [Formerly LordSunday, your mentor] — ceranthor (strike→) 14:24, 9 October 2008 (UTC)Reply

Re: superhero fiction

I agree what you said - if you want to split it go right ahead, as it adds nothing to the article. I'm not sure if the material has any merit at all, but if it does it is definitely better on its only page. If you split it go ahead and put a "see also" section with a link to it. I also agree that the article could use some rewriting/referencing. --ThaddeusB (talk) 17:56, 27 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

New deal for page patrollers

edit

Hi Dougano,

In order to better control the quality of new pages, keep out the spam, and welcome the genuine newbies, the current system we introduced in 2011 is being updated and improved. The documentation and tutorials have also been revised and given a facelift. Most importantly a new user group New Page Reviewer has been created.

Under the new rule, you may find that you are temporarily unable to mark new pages as reviewed. However, this is nothing to worry about - most current experienced patrollers are being accorded the the new right without the need to apply, and if you have significant previous experience of patrolling new pages, we strongly encourage you to apply for the new right as soon as possible - we need all the help we can get, and we are now providing a dynamic, supportive environment for your work.

Find out more about this exiting new user right now at New Page Reviewers and be sure to read the new tutorial before applying. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 04:28, 13 November 2016 (UTC)Reply
