Hi. I'm glad you've been improving the writing. I noted your mention that you had ordered a book/article that would support new material on the woman pleading and on the "cheap gifts", so I was thinking there was nothing much to be done. I guess i could finish or at least improve the captions to the photos which i added. By the way, a South Carolina article that I started recently, First Baptist Church (Columbia, South Carolina) got a DYK. I noticed it would be of interest to Bedford, and noted to him that he had done a good job with another DYK and that he might want to look at this one. In fact he developed the article and put in for the DYK. Getting a DYK is not that hard, i still have never proposed one before. Cheap gifts

I added the ref for the book that has the cheap gifts/woman liking white folks stuff in it the other day. I'm not sure I got it right. Do you use the original copyright date or the latest printing date? Do you want me to scan the section of the book and send it to you?Lvklock (talk) 02:46, 21 March 2008 (UTC)

Ur doing fine. Offhand i think the more recent printing date is better. Thanks for adding the material, and no need to send, i think u r doing a great job. Besides, I don't believe/know about any way to send/incorporate scanned material within wikipedia, this is a weird world here. I did add more complete captions for 2 of the HABs pics. I will focus on the chep gifts/woman pleading stuff. You can do anything else on the list. What about figuring out the Native American vs. Indian thing? Thank you for adding what you did on the cheap gifts. I think it is too brief to be understood properly as the complaint that it was. The webpage version, which I cannot find now, had stuff about how we injuns gave um good buckskin outfits, and so on. With more detail about the gifts they got. The fact they were comparing specifics is important. Also, I wonder about finding an image, from a painting perhaps, that shows Meriwether Lewis wearing a buckskin outfit, which he famously did (or perhap it was Clark). I made a few edits. Have tried with a picture of Lewis and Sacajawea wearing buckskins. Actually i don't know if it is meant to be Lewis or Clark. Which is the one who was supposedly attracted to / involved with her? Want to say it was that one. Do you think this pic adds or is not sufficiently weippe-oriented? Also, is picture placement good? I would be interested in posting the DYK soon, but maybe wait for a Monday or Tuesday so that it appears Saturday or Sunday, 5 days later. doncram (talk) 23:47, 5 April 2008 (UTC)

The article should be 1500 characters, i think it is.

The article needs to be new. I think we want to create the article as a brand new article, not "move" this one, when we are ready. Instead, open the Weippe Prairie red-link to a brand new article, and cut and paste the article text into it. OK. Double checked, hook line does have inline citation. 1500 characters is about 2 kilobytes, this is over 6 kilobytes. I took out the stub templates (DYK can't be stub). Do they need to be replaced with something else? I wanted you to have the DYK article, since it was your idea, but then you mentioned somewhere that I was working on the article.
