Speedy deletion nomination of Template:Posted by Donaldson Izekor edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Template:Posted by Donaldson Izekor, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator. -- Cheers, Alfie. A page you started (American Ghettos) has been reviewed! edit

Thanks for creating American Ghettos.

I have just reviewed the page, as a part of our page curation process and note that:

Thank you for your new article on American Ghettos, but I must point out that it needs to be differentiated from the "United States" section of the existing Ghetto article more succinctly. Or in other words, why is this separate article necessary? Meanwhile, the material on Supreme Court precedents largely copies points that are already made at Racial segregation in the United States and Housing discrimination in the United States.

To reply, leave a comment here and prepend it with {{Re|Doomsdayer520}}. And, don't forget to sign your reply with ~~~~ .

{{Re|Doomsdayer520}}Thank you for reviewing the page. You are absolutely right to point out that there is already a Wikipedia article on racial segregation in America. However, the purpose of this article is to present a more recent research on the creation of American Ghettos which is a more specific topic than racial segregation. I have read the article on racial segregation in America and even though it has very similar findings as my page, my page is more focused on housing segregation and how it correlates with de jure and de facto segregation and it relationship with the history of American ghettos. So, I think this page is necessary not only for a quick and direct historical enlightenment on the history of American Ghettos, pointing out the uniqueness of American ghettos as opposed to other ghettos around the world. With new findings from books like "the color of law" by Dr. Rothstein, this page presents stronger findings on American ghettos. I think that this topic is important enough to have it's own page. But I might be wrong.

I would love to differentiate between the "United States" section of the Ghetto but I'm not sure I know how to go about doing that. Don Izekor
