Sandbox feedback

edit

Hi! I wanted to give you some feedback on your sandbox content. Be extremely careful with controversial topics, especially those that touch upon President Trump. The reason for this is that he's considered to be a fairly high profile, hot button topic on here and as such, writing about LGBTQ+ topics and Trump (even as a portion of a topic about Republican Presidents) would undergo a lot of scrutiny. You need to make sure that the content is very carefully written so that it's neutral, extremely well sourced, and encyclopedic.

I'm concerned that your proposed section may come across as a soapbox essay against Trump, especially as the section is more of a compare and contrast of the two men. You also appear to draw your own conclusions about the actions of either President, something that would be seen as original research on here. I am very concerned that if you were to add this to Wikipedia, it would be very quickly removed because of these reasons.

My recommendation would be to work on improving LGBT_rights_in_the_United_States#Presidents_after_Stonewall, which is a section in the main article for the LGBT rights in the US that goes over what each President has done as far as LGBT rights goes. You still need to avoid inserting original research and opinions, as well as make sure that everything is well sourced, but it could be a good alternative - especially as it seems that some of the article needs sourcing.
