Thanks for your work on this. Unfortunately, in the past it has been deleted as a copyright violation. Here's the deletion log. You'll note I voted against deleting it. Jokestress 00:05, 19 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image licensing issues

edit

You uploaded Image:Rhea.jpg, the license of which states that it is usable for non-commercial and/or educational uses only. However, according to Wikipedia's image policy, it is not usable as there is no restriction that Wikipedia content cannot be used for any other uses than whats specified. As a result, such images are deleted.

However, judging from the metadata of the image showing that it was taken by a personal digital camera, I am inclined to think that you may be the original creator of the image. If you are indeed the original author of the image, you may release it under a free license so that it may become usable here. In that case, you may replace the license section of the image with a free license like {{GFDL-self}}).

If you are the creator of the image, please update the license soon, or else the image will be deleted. Thanks. --soum (0_o) 20:00, 20 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Wikipedia makes it so hard to share information....like I know how to end a free license user end agreement...do I even care? Dlete away communists, delete away...

Don't get discouraged!

edit

It takes a little time to understand all the policies, especially about images. I'd hate to see you leave in frustration. Images are very tightly controlled to avoid possible copyright infringement, so there are a lot of steps to take in order to make an image that is properly licensed. In the meantime, I hope you'll keep making great contributions like rheobase. Jokestress 01:20, 22 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

you guys are quick...do any of you work? j/k :)
