The article Dj soup has been speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This was done because the article seemed to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it did not indicate how or why the subject is notable, that is, why an article about that subject should be included in Wikipedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert notability may be deleted at any time. If you can indicate why the subject is really notable, you are free to re-create the article, making sure to cite any verifiable sources.

Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable, and for specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. See also WP:SPAM and WP:COI. NawlinWiki 17:54, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Yes, I read the article and the talk page. The sources for Dj soup were Mr. Soup's own site and MySpace. There was no source showing Mr. Soup's notability. And thanks for pointing out Mister g -- it's been deleted for the same reasons. NawlinWiki 20:15, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

More DJs edit

Thanks for the note on additional DJs. I have reviewed all the articles. I deleted Trooperz and DJ G-Drive as not asserting notability per WP:MUSIC. I nominated DJ Drew G., Joe h@ss, and Edward Sizzerhand for deletion. In my opinion, DJ Honda, DJ Disk, DJ Debris, and DJ I-Dee meet WP:MUSIC. NawlinWiki 22:49, 19 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Dj Soup.jpg edit

A tag has been placed on File:Dj Soup.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F1 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the image is an unused redundant copy (all pixels the same or scaled down) of an image in the same file format, which is on Wikipedia (not on Commons), and all inward links have been updated.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Proposed deletion of File:DjSoup.jpg edit

The file File:DjSoup.jpg has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Unused low-res photo of non-notable subject.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated files}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the file's talk page.

Please consider addressing the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated files}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and files for discussion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. ♠PMC(talk) 02:27, 16 July 2019 (UTC)Reply
