Hello, Diurpaneu, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are a few good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions.

Also, I've noticed your work on a new bacteria-related article, Borellia anserina. I don't know anything about it, but I can tag it for improvement and manage a couple quick technical aspects of it, such as linking, stub-tagging, etc.

Again, welcome! Pyrospirit Flames Fire 15:28, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for Image:Argas-tick.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Argas-tick.jpg. Wikipedia gets thousands of images uploaded every day, and in order to verify that the images can be legally used on Wikipedia, the source and copyright status must be indicated. Images need to have an image tag applied to the image description page indicating the copyright status of the image. This uniform and easy-to-understand method of indicating the license status allows potential re-users of the images to know what they are allowed to do with the images.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you need help on selecting a tag to use, or in adding the tag to the image description, feel free to post a message at Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. 17:05, 27 March 2007 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Argas-tick.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Argas-tick.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.

As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 17:55, 27 March 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ccwaters 17:55, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for your help. Diurpaneu 18:06, 27 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, unfortunately, I don't think you are allowed to upload those images [1] and [2]; they are copyrighted and fair use does not cover them. See the images at the article Escherichia coli for example, they are all from a non-copyrighted source (the US government who allows everyone to use their images).--Domitius 11:03, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Hi, I saw your request on Domitius' page. I'll see what I can find out about those images. Copyright issues are always a pain here on WP, but they need to be taken seriously. Best regards, --Fut.Perf. 11:16, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
Unfortunately, those images don't look so good, copyright-wise. However, I found this website [3], the CDC Public Health Image Library. They might have alternative images that you can use, and they are really free. If you upload something from there, you can use the {{PD-USGov-HHS-CDC}} tag on the image description page. See how it's been done here. Hope this helps. If you find out the old images are no longer needed, let me know and I'll delete them for you. Fut.Perf. 11:28, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply
I thank you all for helping me. I found better inmages on that Public Health Image Library website. Diurpaneu 15:04, 28 March 2007 (UTC)Reply

Image tagging for Image:Argastick.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Argastick.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Salut, Eu sint verbesk no Romeneşte bine.(Is it correct;I dont speak well your language)
I saw you uploaded an image and use it in Dermatophilus_congolensis. Now there is problem with this image. Please go there, put a Delete template, and upload again with full info about Copright status. Please note that Fair-use images can not be used in Templates. La revedere.
