Referencing Michael Attaleiates

Hi Dimik72. Thank you for your edits at the article. This is to inform you that I added some tags in the article because, although there are listed sources and bibliography, the statements made are not followed by inline citations and the article does not have any footnotes. To start, please click the links I just added in the sentence above. There are many reference templates including those with clickable links, but in general a simple reference structure, without clickable links, should look like this example: "Michael Attaleiates did XYZ".<ref>Alex Kazhdan et al. Oxford Dictionary of Byzantium, First Edition, Oxford University Press, ISBN 978xxx..., 19xx, p. 18</ref> and at the end of the article under the section ==References== you should add {{reflist}} so that the references you added alll over the article will appear under that section. More on citations

Hi again. The complete reference template for books should loolk like this: <ref name="Krallis2012">{{cite book|author=Dimitris Krallis|title=Michael Attaleiates and the Politics of Imperial Decline in Eleventh-Century Byzantium|url=http://books.google.com/books?id=vTunpwAACAAJ|accessdate=5 August 2013|year=2012|publisher=ACMRS (Arizona Center for Medieval and Renaissance Studies)|isbn=978-0-86698-470-6|pages=227-228|quote=Enter quote text}}</ref> per template:cite book. For repeated occurrences of the same citation you append the abbreviated form: <ref name="Krallis2012"/> instead of repeating the full citation over and over again. The online url (link) (if available) and ISBN and page numbers are required. The "quote" field is used for futher verification in case full preview on Google books is not available.
