Nomination of Chicagoblok for deletion

edit

A discussion has begun about whether the article Chicagoblok, which you created or to which you contributed, should be deleted. While contributions are welcome, an article may be deleted if it is inconsistent with Wikipedia policies and guidelines for inclusion, explained in the deletion policy.

The article will be discussed at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Chicagoblok until a consensus is reached, and you are welcome to contribute to the discussion.

You may edit the article during the discussion, including to address concerns raised in the discussion. However, do not remove the article-for-deletion template from the top of the article. Wintonian (talk) 00:27, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please do not create redirect loops between your user page and this one; it is disruptive. Meanwhile, there is a discussion concerning your edits at WP:ANI. Thanks. Rodhullandemu 16:47, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply
I've asked you not to redirect pages unnecessarily. I'm now telling you; it is disruptive and if you do it again, you will be blocked from editing. However, you are allowed to blank your page if you like. Rodhullandemu 17:36, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please do not remove Articles for deletion notices from articles, or remove other people's comments in Articles for deletion debates, as you did with Chicagoblok. Otherwise, it may be difficult to create consensus. If you oppose the deletion of an article, please comment at the respective page instead. Thank you. Chicagoblok

edit

Are there any newspaper or TV news sites with articles in English that you can use as references? This is the main issue with the article at present, have a look at WP:RS to see what we normally consider to be a reliable source. If you can find a couple then I'm pretty sure it won't get deleted. --Wintonian (talk) 18:17, 14 September 2010 (UTC)Reply

Speedy deletion nomination of Palladium (brand)

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Palladium (brand) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G12 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be an unambiguous copyright infringement. This page appears to be a direct copy from http://www.palladiumboots.com/about. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images taken from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. You may use external websites or other printed material as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.

If the external website or image belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text or image — which means allowing other people to use it for any reason — then you must verify that externally by one of the processes explained at Wikipedia:Donating copyrighted materials. The same holds if you are not the owner but have their permission. If you are not the owner and do not have permission, see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how you may obtain it. You might want to look at Wikipedia's copyright policy for more details, or ask a question here.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines.
