April 2010 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to make constructive contributions to Wikipedia, but at least one of your recent edits, such as the one you made to Conjugate, did not appear to be constructive and has been automatically reverted by ClueBot.

  • Please use the sandbox for any test edits you would like to make, and take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Note that human editors do monitor recent changes to Wikipedia articles, and administrators have the ability to block users from editing if they repeatedly engage in vandalism.
  • Cluebot produces very few false positives, but it does happen. If you believe the change you made should not have been detected as unconstructive, please report it here, remove this warning from your talk page, and then make the edit again.
  • The following is the log entry regarding this warning: Conjugate was changed by Devansh.negi (u) (t) blanking the page on 2010-04-06T05:41:16+00:00 . Thank you. ClueBot (talk) 05:41, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Please stop. If you continue to add promotional material to Wikipedia, as you did to Conjugate, you will be blocked from editing. Goodvac (talk) 05:42, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

This is the final warning that you will receive regarding your disruptive edits, such as this edit you made to Talk:Conjugation. If you vandalize Wikipedia again, you will be blocked from editing without further notice. Zhang He (talk) 06:06, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked indefinitely from editing because your account is being used only for spamming or advertising. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text {{unblock|Your reason here}} below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first.

Request reason:

intention was to be very descriptive about the article, had no intention for any form of advertising, kindly unblock me and undo the deletion of the article

Decline reason:

Whatever your intention, you created and reverted back to an advertisement, despite multiple warnings. Unless you can display that you're aware that this is wrong and you can promise not to use Wikipedia for advertising in future, you must remain blocked. Request reason:

newbie to this editing and article writing, didn't realize that the messages were automated or a warning and I promise for no advertising in future, i would adhere to the terms and conditions of Wikipedia, for any editing ill take a prior permission from the administrator for clarity

Decline reason:

At this point we cannot trust you to write about Conjugate any further: you obviously have a conflict of interest based on your posts. You would need to meet the conditions you agreed to: no advertising, and abiding by Wikipedia policies, but in addition you would need to promise to avoid any further editing at all on this topic, and justify that Wikipedia stands to gain something from unblocking you by explaining what you might contribute that would be of value. I'm not 100% clear- are you agreeing to avoid writing about your business in the future? What other subjects are you interested in writing about? -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:40, 6 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Conjugate was my first article regarding a company which i thought should hav an article to validate its existence i never touch that article again, but other than that i can write about Garwhal region in uttrakhand, our clans real existence and its origin which have been misinterpreted in some of the earlier articles, other than that about the various cities, towns and regions of uttrakhand that i know and i am aware about. Coming from an army background i have been to about 50+ in India, please allow me to write articles and in case i even touch the Conjugate article you can block me again.

Decline reason:

This request for unblocking has been declined due to your history of vandalism and/or disruption to this encyclopedia. However, we are willing to give you another chance provided that you can earn back the trust of the Wikipedia community. To be unblocked you need to demonstrate that you are willing and able to contribute positively to Wikipedia. You can do this by:

  • Familiarizing yourself with our basic rules.
  • Read our guide to improving articles
  • Pick any pre-existing article you wish to improve.
  • Click edit this page on that article and scroll down past the message informing you of your block.
  • Copy the source of that article and paste it to the bottom of your talk page under a new top-level heading (like this: = [[Article title]] =) and save the page before you improve it.
  • Propose some significant and well researched improvements to your article by editing your personal copy of the article. Please note that we are not looking for basic typo corrections, or small unreferenced additions; your edits should be substantial, and reflect relevant policies.
  • When you are done with your work, re-request unblocking and an administrator will review your proposed edits.
    • If we (including the original blocking admin) are convinced that your proposed edits will improve Wikipedia as an encyclopedia, you will be unblocked.

If you need help while working with your proposed edits, you may add "{{helpme|your question here}}" to your talk page. Thank you. Blueboy96 12:45, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

A second account, Abhijeet.mitra1978 (talk · contribs), has appeared posting similar content and has also been blocked. The article has also been protected to prevent the company from pursuing further spamming activities. -- Gogo Dodo (talk) 18:24, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply
That indicates that this user is not going to be able to edit without writing about his company; that seems to be his only reason for editing. No further reason to consider unblock, then. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 18:26, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Conjugate seeding Potential.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Conjugate seeding Potential.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. —TheDJ (talkcontribs) 15:16, 7 April 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:Conjugate seeding Potential.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Conjugate seeding Potential.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

PLEASE NOTE:

  • I am a bot, and will therefore not be able to answer your questions.
  • I will remove the request for deletion if the file is used in an article once again.
