WP Monographs
editI noticed your message at Wikipedia:Village pump (miscellaneous)#WP Monographs?. I'm not sure what the proposal is exactly, but one approach would be to write a brief outline of an idea, then invite comment on it, then present it somewhere for consideration. You could put a proposal here (on this talk page), or you could make a user subpage—for example, User:DemiSemi/Monographs. If you mean that a monograph would be written at a URL based on en.wikipedia.org, I don't think that's going to happen because there is no objective way to separate good from bad (what if someone does a monograph on cold fusion?). It is ok to have a subpage with a realistic idea (even if it is a little blue sky), but user subpages are not available for anything unrelated to developing the encyclopedia: a subpage could hold a draft of an article, but it could not hold a monograph unless the result was likely to be suitable as an article (which rules out textbook treatments). I'm not spending much time on Wikipedia at the moment, but I'll probably notice any response here, or you could leave a new message on my talk page if I don't respond in a day or two.
