In the article Renny Pritikin, you added an external link in the main body of the article. According to Wikipedia Policy, "External links should typically not be in the body of an article. Include them in an "External links" section at the end or in the appropriate location within an infobox." The link to the Nelson Gallery site should go in a seperate section at the bottom of the article. Thank you! Fléêťflämẽ U-T-C 01:26, 26 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Lee Walton

edit

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of Lee Walton, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.leewalton.com/about_the_artist/index.html. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. "Raúl Zamudio"

edit

A tag has been placed on "Raúl Zamudio", requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a very short article providing little or no context to the reader. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself. If you plan to expand the article, you can request that administrators wait a while for you to add contextual material. To do this, affix the template {{hangon}} to the article and state your intention on the article's talk page. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. -- MisterHand (Talk to the Hand|Contribs) 12:35, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

-- I don't mind if you delete it, even if it is counter productive. I just moved it from the head of the "art curators" category page.Delpesco (talk) 19:06, 28 January 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from Sundown Schoolhouse, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. VernoWhitney (talk) 20:34, 4 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Projects Class

edit

The article Projects Class has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non-notable individual course at a college.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.  Glenfarclas  (talk) 02:01, 8 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

Proposed deletion of Sam Gould

edit

The article Sam Gould has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Speedy deletion nomination of File:NewLangtonArts Exterior.jpg

edit

A tag has been placed on File:NewLangtonArts Exterior.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a file licensed as "for non-commercial use only", "no derivative use", "for Wikipedia use only", or "used with permission"; and it has not been shown to comply with the limited standards for the use of non-free content. If you agree with the deletion, there is no need to do anything. If, however, you believe that this image may be retained on Wikipedia under one of the permitted conditions then:

  • state clearly the source of the image. If it has been copied from elsewhere on the web you should provide links to: the image itself, the page which uses it and the page which contains the license conditions.
  • add the relevant copyright tag and if necessary, a complete fair use rationale.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator, or if you have already done so, you can place a request here.
