A tag has been placed on your user page, User:Delhi International Film Festival, New Delhi/sandbox, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page appears to be blatant advertising which only promotes or publicises a company, product, group or service, and which is a violation of our policies regarding acceptable use of user pages; user pages are intended for active editors of Wikipedia to communicate with one another as part of the process of creating encyclopedic content, and should not be mistaken for free webhosting resources. Please read the guidelines on spam, the guidelines on user pages, and, especially, our FAQ for Organizations.

If you can indicate why the page is not blatant advertising, contest the deletion by clicking on the button that looks like this: Click here to contest this speedy deletion which appears inside of the speedy deletion ({{db-...}}) tag (if no such tag exists, the page is no longer a speedy deletion candidate). Doing so will take you to your user talk page where you will find a pre-formatted place for you to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. You can also edit this page directly to give your reasons, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would help make it encyclopedic. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Whpq (talk) 14:11, 8 June 2015 (UTC)Reply

Welcome to Wikipedia. Because we have a policy against usernames which give the impression that the account represents a group, organization or website, I have blocked this account; please take a moment to create a new account with a username that represents only yourself as an individual and which complies with our username policy.

It also appears that your account is intended to be used for the purpose of telling the world about an organization, person or cause that you consider worthwhile. Unfortunately, many good causes are not sufficiently notable for their own Wikipedia article, and all users are discouraged from editing in any area where they have an inherent conflict of interest. You may wish to consider one of these alternative outlets.

If your username does not represent a group, organization or website, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice.

You may simply create a new account, but you may prefer to change your username to one that complies with our username policy, so that your past contributions are associated with your new username. If you would prefer to change your username, you may appeal this username block by adding the text {{unblock-un|new username|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}} below this notice. Thank you. WHAT IS DIFF

To celebrate the 100 glorious years of Indian Cinema and Delhi in 2012, the idea of 1st DIFF was conceptualised by The Social Circle. Delhi became an indelible part of cinematic history and got its only International film festival as DIFF. DIFF became the catalyst for getting people closer to Indian and world cinema in the year of its centenary celebrations. After the grand successes of 1st and 2nd Delhi International film festivals in 2012, and 2013, 3rd DIFF 2014 was organised in 2014 and it received more accolades & applauses thus becoming even bigger success. As our purpose of never ending promotion of Cinema, Art & Culture , we are continuing our legacy with DIFF 2015.

WHY DIFF London, Tokyo, Durban, Beijing, Dubai, Mumbai, Goa, Kolkata and now, Delhi! DIFF grandly showcases world cinema by screening 250 films, 250 selected art works and 50 literary works by NRI and Indian poets. This is possibly the only film festival in the world that not only toasts films, but also it's artistic branches.
