"Death" and Comics - Sarcasm doesn't translate well on Wiki

edit

Hi. Just a minor comment on your draft for Philippine Comics: I would caution about the use of "Death" with quotation marks in a heading on Wikipedia. While it'll be understood well enough by anyone who takes the time to read the text, there's a largeish chance it will be misinterpreted and even misquoted by those who only go through the article in passing. Being familiar with the economics of komiks that era, I suggest "commercial decline" instead. Nice work; even my feedback is a minor comment. I'll keep watch over the page as well, after your revision. And oh, thanks for the picture of Gerry. - Batongmalake (talk) 02:03, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply

Thank you for your comment! I hope my draft isn't missing the point to the eyes of someone well-versed in the subject. I agree that sarcasm doesn't always work online, and Wikipedia articles should avoid misleading wording, especially in headings. I've made some corrections to my draft.--Deer hunter (talk) 14:22, 15 April 2024 (UTC)Reply
