Orphaned fair use image (Image:Dttwcover.jpg) edit

This media may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Dttwcover.jpg. I notice the 'image' page currently specifies that the image can be used under a fair use license. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any fair use images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Stifle (talk) 17:28, 4 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Aged requests edit

I would just like to compliment you on your great work at Wikipedia:Articles requested for more than a year. It is especially impressive that many of the articles you are writing on these obscure subjects are more than brief stubs. Also good work culling some of the requests that don't deserve articles. One thing to note is that because of the way aged requests page is updated, unless you also remove the poor requests from the main requests page, they will reappear on the old requests list. For instance Kopikats still appears on Wikipedia:Requested articles/music, and thus still registers as a long unfufilled request. - SimonP 22:03, 6 July 2006 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:GODTV2.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:GODTV2.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk 07:00, 2 October 2010 (UTC)Reply
