Welcome! edit

Hello there. I replied at WT:MED. Are you part of an WP:AFSE? If so, is there a WP:Course page? Thanks! Biosthmors (talk) 20:52, 4 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

I replied again at WT:MED. Could you please reply there and to my questions directly above? Thanks. Who was it that was responsible for approving of your topic selection? Was it just you? Or was there an instructor involved? Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 00:47, 6 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Disambiguation link notification for January 5 edit

Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the brain, you added links pointing to the disambiguation pages CSF and Photic stimulation (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Talk:Functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the brain/to do edit

I noticed that you created the above page and then blanked it. I marked it for deletion as a page blanked by creator but you subsequently put the task template on there. I think I understand your intent here but it would fit much better with Wikipedia if you constructed your to-do list in your own user space in your sandbox rather than as a sub-page of a talk page which nobody else will know exists. I have re-tagged the page it for deletion, but please do let me know if this is inappropriate for some reason. Thanks  Velella  Velella Talk   22:34, 12 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Feedback? edit

If you want feedback on your article, I recommend opening a WP:PR and asking several WP:PRV. Please also let me know on my talk page if you open a WP:PR. Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 19:44, 14 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

Great! Please ask some of the people in the subject-matter area anyways. I think it's a flaw in the design of the list, which I should work on. Another story! Biosthmors (talk) 21:32, 18 January 2013 (UTC)Reply
Well well well. You haven't gotten any peer review comments yet! I might have to provide some myself! And I think I'll do a little prodding of others who haven't responded to your polite requests... Hmmm.... But could you at least reply at my talk page to let me know you're still around and willing to address peer review comments? Thanks so much. Best. Biosthmors (talk) 00:24, 1 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

Well I've left you some comments at Wikipedia:Peer review/Functional magnetic resonance spectroscopy of the brain/archive1. I hope you find them helpful! Best. Biosthmors (talk) 23:43, 1 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

There's nothing wrong with a short background section to get a more naive reader up to speed with an advanced topic without having to rely so heavily on wikilinks. And I wouldn't worry about what the article ranking is. Article rankings are sometimes subjective, artbitrary, and other times unhelpful. I also don't know enough of the literature to judge whether or not the article is B-class or not. I made an edit to the article along the lines of my comments. Please comment at the peer review, because that is what it is there for. Thanks. Biosthmors (talk) 18:49, 5 February 2013 (UTC)Reply

File permission problem with File:FMRS of lactate.png edit

Thanks for uploading File:FMRS of lactate.png. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file has agreed to release it under the given license.

If you are the copyright holder for this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either

  • make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
  • Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-en@wikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.

If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-en@wikimedia.org.

If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Wikipedia:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 22:55, 15 September 2013 (UTC)Reply
