February 2014 edit

Hello, I'm Jim1138. I noticed that you recently made an edit to Mauricio Lasansky that seemed to be a test. Your test worked! If you want more practice editing, the sandbox is the best place to do so. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Mauricio Lasansky edit

For information on uploading, locating, and inserting images into articles, see wp:images. You may be able to find an image in Wikimedia Commons. Just type "Mauricio Lasansky" or "Lasansky" in the search box. If you click on the "Show preview", you can see if your edit works correctly without actually saving the changes to the server. If you want to try something, use your sandbox: User talk:Dblgood/sandbox. A good place to ask questions is at the wp:Teahouse. Or, leave me a message on my talk page: User talk:Jim1138. Etching edit

I see you have added a section on famous engravers. If this is to stand (there's already a list of printmakers that you linked) then there must be a citation for each artist proving they were famous for their etchings. It might be better to put that in a list, if indeed it is distinct from the list of printmakers (prints made by etching vs prints made by other means) - but it sounds to me as if the existing list could be sufficient, or adapted to be so. Chiswick Chap (talk) 09:19, 31 January 2015 (UTC)Reply

Further to this, the List of printmakers explicitly identifies (many) notable artists who used etching; it marks them "Et", so any further listing is redundant. I have therefore simply marked the section 'See...' which does the job as well as possible. That way we have just one list to maintain, and since it is already well structured, there is nothing to be gained by repeating it. Many thanks for your understanding.
