Wikimania 2010 could be coming to Stockholm! edit

I'm leaving you a note as you may be interested in this opportunity.

People from all six Nordic Wiki-communities (sv, no, nn, fi, da and is) are coordinating a bid for Wikimania 2010 in Stockholm. I'm sending you a message to let you know that this is occurring, and over the next few months we're looking for community support to make sure this happens! See the bid page on meta and if you like such an idea, please sign the "supporters" list at the bottom. Tack (or takk), and have a wonderful day! Mike H. Fierce! 09:04, 5 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Use of bold type on medal table edit

You seem to be an interested party. There is a related discussion in Talk:2008 Summer Olympics medal table#Use of bold type on medal table. -- Tcncv (talk) 15:22, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Well, I just noted that the article said "boldface", but there was no boldface, so I included it. As for whether there should be boldface or not, I have no opinion. David ekstrand (talk) 15:25, 24 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

Your recent changes to Finnish War edit

I removed them without an explanation by mistake. Can you please tell me why is your addition relevant to that article?

Your comment on Sponsianus's talk page edit

It is policy on English Wikipedia that material should be given in English. It is a mistake to think that a speaker of (for example) Swedish writing to another Swedish speaker is conducting a private exchange: everything you write, including comments on user talk pages, is the property of English Wikipedia, and should be readable by any Wikipedia user competent in English. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
