Hi, Dave. I saw your question about creating an article and a user page. "CSD A7" is shorthand that, unfortunately, is not very understandable to new users. What it means: A Wikipedia article about a person needs to demonstrate why that person is "notable." Wikipedia doesn't accept articles about any person who happens to want one; we are not that kind of free web space. An article that doesn't demonstrate notability can be deleted speedily. The rules about doing that are called Criteria for Speedy Deletion - CSD. Rule A7 is the specific one that requires notability.

To create your own user page, which does not require notability, just click here: User:Dave weimar and start editing. Welcome! FreplySpang (talk) 00:38, August 25, 2005 (UTC)

  • Too late. I have created it for you. -- RHaworth 03:26:43, 2005-08-25 (UTC)
