Your recent edits edit

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button   located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. --SineBot (talk) 21:00, 14 February 2011 (UTC)Reply

"Common knowledge" edit

If something is "common knowledge", then it shouldn't be hard to find a citation to document it. Our rules about verifiability and reliable sourcing mean that if information cannot be documented, it has no place in an article. We are not a repository for what "everybody in the neighborhood knows"; we are a compendium of published information from reliable, neutral sources. --Orange Mike | Talk 13:09, 1 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
