Hi Darlene, Welcome to Wikipedia. We are not always as unfriendly as we may look. To sign a message on a talk page, just type ~~~~ and your standard Wiki-signature will be automatically appended, provided you are logged in. Combining your IP address with your username is generally avoided, particularly by those editing under a pseudonym, which, it would appear, you are not doing, so no big problem. Also avoid a leading space on a paragraph as it affects the formatting. • • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 07:54, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply

As a founder of SciStarter, you are advised by the WP:Conflict of interest policy to not directly edit any article on SciStarter, but you are welcome to provide information with references on the talk page, and to request someone else to create the article or add your recommended content. As there is currently no SciStarter article, a good place to start would be by creating a draft in your sandbox (when logged in the link is at the top right of every page).

At this stage you should consider whether you can show the organisation will meet the WP:Notability criteria.

If you want to build up credibility on Wikipedia, improve some articles on subjects where you are knowledgeable, but not too personally involved.

I am by no means an expert, but I have been working on Wikipedia for a while. If you get stuck with something, ask.• • • Peter (Southwood) (talk): 09:29, 3 August 2015 (UTC)Reply
