Your edits to Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation

edit

Assuming you are the person behind User:The Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation and User:150.226.43.71, you have attempted to remove large swaths of content from this article seven times now over the last many days. This is considered edit warring and is most emphatically not tolerated here. I am blocking this account for this behavior, with the block notice being noted below shortly after I complete this post. I would also like to point out that your edit summaries such as this one give the impression that you think that as an official representative of the organization you have the final say in what is allowed on the article. This is false in every respect. Wikipedia is a collaborative project. People literally from all over the world contribute to articles on subjects with whom they have no official relationship. Furthermore, Wikipedia is not a webhost for companies to control their public image. I am also, again, undoing your changes as they are highly disruptive. If this behavior continues under other accounts, we will be blocking those accounts as sock puppets and/or protecting the article so that new accounts can not edit the page.

Understand; there is no possible way for the changes you want to have happen by behaving in the way you have been. If you truly represent the best interests of the organization, you will follow the advice being given to you here and also at User talk:The Western Hemisphere Institute for Security Cooperation. This is a collaborative project. We do not work by creating editorial battlegrounds. --Hammersoft (talk) 15:44, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply

You have been blocked from editing for a period of 31 hours to prevent further vandalism. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  Hammersoft (talk) 15:44, 27 April 2021 (UTC)Reply
