Hello Everyone,

I am Danah Alshaea and here is a short introduction of me. I am basically from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in Middle East, but have been in the United States of America for the past 5 years pursuing my graduation. My favorite pass time is reading articles on health care systems, healthy life, fashion designing and technology, online. One thing that is interesting about me is that I am very passionate about fashion trends and I follow different trends from different parts of the world. I want to be a registered nurse and work for the welfare of the society. My passion is helping others out and following fashion. I chose to pursue a degree in health management because I can empathize with people and understand their problems when they are sick and tend to them till they heal. I believe that I have the capacity to nurse a patient. One thing I would like to change if I could in relation to health care is the excessively high prices of several drugs. I would like to bring the prices down so that more and more people can afford them. This will really help the poor and the middle class people in the country.

Thanks and Regards,

Danah

China is preparing to start a ‘limited war’

edit

The article published in China’s state newspaper, “Global Times”, accounts the state’s preparation against Indian soldiers in Doklam region. A limited war has been opted as an instrument to force out the stationed soldiers. China and India have been embroiled in a strained relationship since June. The conflict commenced in the Doklam region (situated at Bhutan and China intersection). The Indian soldiers pushed against the building of a Chinese road at that region. The road was designed to provide ease of access to Chinese trade routes. The resulting standoff has escalated the tensions between two Asian giants. The original conflict pertinent to Doklam lies between Bhutan and China, as both lay claim to the area. Indian army entered the dispute at the behest of Bhutan, and a standoff has ensued ever since. Bhutan has taken an officially neutral stance, owing to its diminished military might, and aid programs emerging from China. Hu Xi Yong, a researcher at Shanghai Academy of Social Sciences, postulated that the dispute would resolve very rapidly following the limited military actions set in motion by China. China aims to employ the action within a week’s time. Yong further claimed that the Chinese government aims to notify Indian counterparts prior to initialization of military action. The diplomatic course of action is in continuation with Chinese commitment to Global peace. The standoff has led to an exhibition of brinkmanship by the two countries over the long-standing disputed intersection. The editorial is published amidst the emerging news of unfortunate statements from Indian External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj. The issue of Doklam standoff has been the focus of cabinet meetings, and has been the subject of heated arguments. The Chinese newspapers have been keen on the Indian media. “Global Times” editorials pitch India against a potent, formidable Asian giant. They attribute Indian government’s brash behavior to its aspirations of regional hegemony. The newspaper claims, India has been encouraged and blindsided by Western commentators who overstate India’s influence in South Asia. People’s Liberation Army has been involved in various preparatory actions in the past month. Among the several actions undertaken, include the groundwork for a military retaliation. The paper highlights Modi government and its violation of international laws and treaties pertinent to Doklam region. The recent standoff has served to challenge India’s commitment to global peace progress. The soft power projection and progress is postulated to be hampered by this conflict. The paper made recommendations to Modi government to evaluate Chinese and Indian military capabilities prior to any military clash. [1]
