Washington Heights

You know, I specifically opened the move request for Washington Heights (Metra station), instead of just moving it, because I was aware of Washington Heights, Manhattan and I thought you'd raise objections and I wanted to know what you thought. While I expressed my opinion that disambiguation was unnecessary, I allowed that I might be wrong, and invited comment. I stated all the facts. To have you then call the proposal "misleading" (without explaining how), and without offering any alternative suggestion, just feels like a slap in the face. I'm not sure why I went to the trouble. Mackensen (talk) 13:59, 3 February 2016 (UTC)

Simply put, people who see "Washington Heights station" could still think it's in Manhattan, mainly those who don't know either NYC or Chicago. Your intentions may not be hostile, but they still create that problem. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 15:41, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
And I was clearly alive to that potential problem, and said so in the RM, but your comment implies that I wasn't. I'm not sure how I could have communicated that any more clearly. Your comment comes off as deliberately hostile and offensive. If you don't like WP:USSTATION then that's your prerogative, but it crosses a line to accuse another editor of being "misleading" when he clearly spelled out the possibility of ambiguity, while offering his own opinion that it wasn't a problem. If you meant to say that editors could be confused by Washington Heights station, therefore the article should be at Washington Heights station (Illinois) or some such, then you should have said that, because that's an entirely different proposition. Mackensen (talk) 15:57, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Umm, could you read the message I just posted on the talk page of the article itself? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:03, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
Just did. You should consider being more careful in the future. This isn't the first time you've left vague messages during move discussions (and other discussions) which have confused the participants and led to much unfruitful discussion. Your new message is confusing and helpful in a different way. Mackensen (talk) 16:18, 3 February 2016 (UTC)
