  • Please stop making song stub articles like you did at Don't Walk Away Eileen and others. They are not useful because they do not provide any useful information. If yu wich to include informatio n about the song, please do so at the album's page (in this cas, We Were Born in a Flame). Song stub articles are inevevitably, eventually always deleted and the info is merged into the album that it's from. Unless you can write at least a moderate-length paragraph of verifiable info about the song, please do not create the article. Thanks.--Hraefen Talk 19:02, 6 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Song lyrics are copyrighted. You can make articles about songs that were hits or were released as singles, but please don't copy lyrics. Gazpacho 19:50, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Please refrain from adding nonsense to Wikipedia, as you did to We Ride Lyrics. It is considered vandalism. If you would like to experiment, use the sandbox. Wickethewok 19:52, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • Please stop adding copyrighted material to Wikipedia. This includes song lyrics. Wickethewok 19:52, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia! We appreciate your contributions to the Break It Off Lyrics article, but we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material. Perhaps you would like to rewrite the article in your own words. For more information, take a look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. As I said, you're welcome to create articles about hit songs and songs released as singles. We encourage people to contribute constructively. Gazpacho 19:58, 14 August 2006 (UTC)Reply

It's On

edit

A tag has been placed on It's On, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article seems to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable (see the guidelines for notability here). If you can indicate why the subject of this article is notable, you may contest the tagging. To do this, please write {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on the article's talk page explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself.

Please read the criteria for speedy deletion (specifically, articles #7) and our general biography criteria. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. (aeropagitica) 21:23, 19 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Girl Like That

edit

Girl Like That, an article you created, has been nominated for deletion. We appreciate your contributions. However, an editor does not feel that Girl Like That satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in the nomination space (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and the Wikipedia deletion policy). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Girl Like That and please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~). You are free to edit the content of Girl Like That during the discussion but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion discussion. Thank you. Hammer1980·talk 11:58, 18 November 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Leslie Hunt

edit

An article that you have been involved in editing, Leslie Hunt, has been listed for deletion. If you are interested in the deletion discussion, please participate by adding your comments at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leslie Hunt. Thank you. Do you want to opt out of receiving this notice? Aspects (talk) 20:23, 22 August 2008 (UTC)Reply

First off, please do not use my user page as a talk page. I have deleted the entries you made to my user page, User:Aspects. If you wish to leave me a message please do so on my talk page, User_talk:Aspects. Secondly, I deleted the comments you made to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leslie Hunt because the discussion had been closed with the following statements put in "The following discussion is an archived debate of the proposed deletion of the article below. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made on the appropriate discussion page (such as the article's talk page or in a deletion review). No further edits should be made to this page." Lastly, as to why the article was deleted and then I redirected to American Idol (season 7), please see the arguments posted on Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Leslie Hunt. I have nominated 321 (song), an article that you created, for deletion. ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Now and Then Videoflow

edit

The article Now and Then Videoflow has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Appears to be a hoax; only about 27 hits on google, all from Wikipedia mirrors.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
