Clearing an autoblock edit

Due to the nature of the block applied we need additional information before we can decide whether to unblock you. It is very likely that you are not personally blocked. If you are prevented from editing, it may be because you are autoblocked or blocked because of your IP address. Without further details there is nothing further we can do to review or lift your block. If you are still autoblocked by the time you read this message, please follow these instructions:

  1. If you have a Wikipedia account, please ensure that you are logged in.
Your account name will be visible in the top right of this page if you are.
If it isn't, try bypassing your web browser's cache.
  2. Try to edit the Sandbox.
  3. Copy the {{unblock-auto|...}} code generated for you under the "IP blocked?" section.
  4. Paste the code at the bottom of your user talk page and click save.

If you are not blocked from editing the sandbox then the autoblock on your IP address has already expired and you can resume editing. ¤~Persian Poet Gal (talk) 16:35, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

WP:FILMS Welcome edit

Welcome!

Hey, welcome to the Films WikiProject! We're a group of editors working to improve Wikipedia's coverage of films and film characters. If you haven't already, please add {{User WikiProject Films}} to your user page.

A few features that you might find helpful:

  • Most of our important discussions about the project itself and its related articles take place on the project's main discussion page; it is highly recommended that you watchlist it.

There is a variety of interesting things to do within the project; you're free to participate however much—or little—you like:

  • Want to jump right into editing? The style guidelines show things you should include.
  • Want to assist in some current backlogs within the project? Visit the Film Tasks template to see how you can help.
  • Want to know how good our articles are? Our assessment department has rated the quality of every film article in Wikipedia. Check it out!
  • Want to collaborate on articles? The Cinema Collaboration of the Week picks an article every week to work on together.

If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask another fellow member, and we'll be happy to help you. Again, welcome! We look forward to seeing you around! Nehrams2020 20:10, 31 August 2007 (UTC)Reply

RFA edit

While I know your nomination was in good faith, you have a lack of experience that will go against you. RFA can be a very demoralising experience in your circumstances as such I recommend that you withdraw the nomination. Gnangarra 14:25, 2 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Talk messages edit

You may wish to go back and edit the message you left [1] at User talk:Eaglestorm, as it appears that you neither signed the warning nor indicated which article you were warning the editor about. --Kralizec! (talk) 16:39, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Removed it. --Czac 16:44, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

When warning editors, you should also list the article they were editing. To use the {{uw-test1}} warning as an example, {{subst:uw-test1|Article}} --~~~~ would warn the user regarding their edits to Article. --Kralizec! (talk) 16:49, 3 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

DYK edit

On 7 September, 2007, Did you know? was updated with a fact from the article Leon Russom, which you created or substantially expanded. If you know of another interesting fact from a recently created article, then please suggest it on the Did you know? talk page.

Request reason:

why am i blocked. I never vandalized any article

Decline reason:

You are blocked because it is believed that you have used multiple accounts in violation of WP:SOCK. — Yamla 17:32, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

What accounts. Can you unblock me so i can discuss it with the blocking administrator.

Decline reason:

You're the same user as Zalgt and about a dozen others. — jpgordon∇∆∇∆ 00:23, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

You don't need to be unblocked to discuss it with the blocked admin, it works the other way around! :D I have messaged the blocking admin for you, and he or she will come here and discuss it with you. SGGH speak! 20:45, 13 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

My edits are positive and i have never vandalized or made disruptive edits. I have actually reverted some vandalism. If i make positive contributions to Wikipedia i should be able to edit. Even if this is the same account as others there is no reason to have this account continued to be blocked. It is known that i have an ip address the same as Zalgt. I am a legitimate editor and should be unblocked.

Decline reason:

Checkuser demonstrates that you are the same user. Your protests are less than compelling, especially given that you admit to sharing the same IP address as him. — Haemo 20:02, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

I know that my talk page will probably be locked for this but can I be temporarily unblocked for opening a case at the Arbitration Committee. Also I have edited constructively and will continue to do so.

Decline reason:

No reason to do so. You can email a member of WP:ARBCOM directly. — Yamla 20:13, 14 September 2007 (UTC)Reply

Arbitration request edit

As Yamla said, you can email the committee if you still wish to pursue unblocking. Please do not evade your block using IPs. Picaroon (t) 20:19, 22 September 2007 (UTC)Reply
