Emails edit

Hi there. I just sent you an email. Amsaim (talk) 11:21, 7 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hello edit

Just a note to say that I hadn't seen you around much for the last couple of months. Seeing your name at WPMED recently reminded me of its relative absence. I hope things are going well, and that you'll be on wiki whenever your studies allow. WhatamIdoing (talk) 04:48, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Kev F Sutherland edit

I just spent the last two hours adding references and including inline citations because the note told me I needed to. You've just erased all that work, which I believe Wikipedia required me to do!

I now have no inline citations and would need to re-Google all those cross references I just found.

Every amend I made was marked as either a Reference (because I was adding a reference) or an inline citations (which I was linking up).

Have you archived every single one of those amends I made in the last two hours and is every single one of them unconstructive as you suggest?

And do I need to put the inline citations back in, or was Wikipedia joking when it told me to? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.32.148.205 (talk) 14:10, 16 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks for replacing my amends edit

Thanks, reversion much appreciated.

Notice edit

Hi. I'm posting to let you know that your name has been mentioned on a list of Highly active users on the talk page for RfA's here. If you are interested in running for administratorship, or if you would like to make any comments, feel free to join the discussion. -- Soap Talk/Contributions 17:38, 18 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Your note edit

You're welcome. For the record, I did not consider your nor Ottava's responses to be badgering: both of you had valid questions regarding part of my oppose and wanted clarification (and you were both civil and reasonable), and I was happy to expand to explain where I was coming from. Thanks for the note. Best. Acalamari 20:30, 19 September 2009 (UTC)Reply

Rfa edit

I see that you commented on my talk page about my Rfa closing statement. I would like to explain the reasoning behind those statements quickly. First of all, I proposed a plan that was applicable to all future admin candidates and it was turned down because everyone assumed that I was speaking solely for myself. Second, it is my opinion that several administrators, those I will not name, do a great job but are a little sanctimonious about their positions which is the reason I was a little harsh when it came to them. Thirdly, the fact that I would be accused of being out for power is a statement that can put anyone off and hearing it from some of the most respected members of the community can be quite a blow. I can take it from just about anyone else but when my reputation as an editor is put on the line because some people are drawing conclusions based on circumstantial evidence made me a little irritated as I am sure you can understand. That is all I wanted to say and I hope you at least understand my reasoning a little better and if you don't, that is okay too. See you around. - Regards, Gaelen S.Talk Contribs 18:22, 30 September 2009 (UTC)Reply
