About that copy-and-paste move from draft to main

Hi! I've been told (by a warning box whenever I tried to move a draft to main but there's already a main article about it) that I am not allowed to copy-and-paste any information to draft to the main-space article since it's required for the page history to move along with the draft. I'll let Draft:Tropical Storm Karen (2019) slide for now, but for any other ones I may have to argue against it. Cheers! INeedSupport :V 17:57, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

But that was before someone moved the main article back to the draft (since it was easier to just copy and paste the whole thing instead of deleting the original redirect). However, I do agree now that a page move is definitely required, though we'll have to leave it for now and wait for an admin to move it back. CycloneYoris talk! 18:46, 25 September 2019 (UTC)

Hi CycloneYoris, I just noticed the hammerhead entry has this:

"The hammerhead shark, also known as mano kihikihi, is not considered a man-eater or niuhi; it is considered to be one of the most respected sharks of the ocean, an aumakua...The hammerhead shark is thought to be the birth animal of some children."

I live in Hawaii; the aumakua reference has primarily been used the tiger shark because it is implicated in our periodic attacks. Do you know where this information came from; the reference, 28--"Shark highly respected in Hawaiian culture", does not even mention hammerheads.

If you are not the author of this passage, can you see who is? I'm not that versed in wikepedia so I am not able to determine that. Thanks for any help you can give!! Aloha, Mark. markdd8@gmail.com Markdd8 (talk) 00:25, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

Please comment on hammerhead sharks being "aumakua"

CycloneYoris

The section states this: "The hammerhead shark, also known as mano kihikihi, is not considered a man-eater or niuhi; it is considered to be one of the most respected sharks of the ocean, an aumakua... The hammerhead shark is thought to be the birth animal of some children. "

I do not know if you are the author of this subsection; sorry to bother you if you are not.

The reference for this section, 28, "Shark highly respected in Hawaiian culture;" does not make any reference to hammerheads.

I live in Hawaii; the aumakua concept has been primarily applied to tiger sharks. I am interested is tracking down this contrary info that Wikipedia is reporting.

I'm not that versed in Wikipedia so if you are not the author of this section, can you direct me to who is. Thanks!! Mark Email is also good: markdd8@gmail.com Markdd8 (talk) 00:35, 15 October 2019 (UTC)

@Markdd8: I'm sorry but I have absolutely no idea who wrote that, you should address this issue on the article's talk page and maybe there someone can help you solve this; since I'm not a regular editor on that page I have no idea where that information came from. Ecuador national team

Bro Jurgen Klinsmann might of been said to be the coach in Europe newspapers especially in Germany. But what matters is that Ecuador federation needs to say and confirm so not yet.
