Speedy deletion of Jheri-Kurl Gang

edit

A tag has been placed on Jheri-Kurl Gang requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is an article with no content whatsoever, or whose contents consist only of external links, "See also" section, book reference, category tag, template tag, interwiki link, rephrasing of the title, or an attempt to contact the subject of the article. Please see Wikipedia:Stub for our minimum information standards for short articles. Also please note that articles must be on notable subjects and should provide references to reliable sources that verify their content.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. Proposed deletion of Jheri-Kurl Gang

edit

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Jheri-Kurl Gang, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Sole source of notability seems to have been being dismantled, which edges into WP:ONEEVENT.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. - Vianello (Talk) 23:01, 3 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Regarding a few of your recent articles

edit

Some of them do have a lot of potential, but they do not have enough to be articles yet. Just a suggestion: create them in your userspace first. For example, instead of Episkopi massacre, make it User:Cupiii/Episkopi massacre. That way, you can work on the articles as much as you want without having to worry about them getting marked for speedy deletion. I'll give you some time to work on them, but if they aren't expanded in a few days, I'll shift them to your userspace so you can work on them without being harrassed by other users. Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Episkopi massacre has been reverted.
Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): \bliveleak\.com\b (links: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ebd_1236102823, http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ebd_1236102823 (redirect from http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=ebd_1236102823)).
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Speedy deletion of Korean Killers (street gang)

edit

A tag has been placed on Korean Killers (street gang) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section A7 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the article appears to be about about a person, organization (band, club, company, etc.) or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is important or significant: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, such articles may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable

One of your articles moved to your namespace

edit

I only moved one of them, because the other one isn't completely bad. However, I think you should work on Jheri-Kurl Gang a little more, so I moved it to User:Cupiii/Jheri-Kurl Gang so you can continue working on it.

If there's anything I can do, let me know. Δnnuit Cœptis 01:29, 5 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

License tagging for File:North epirus map.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:North epirus map.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 16:05, 17 May 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fair use rationale for File:Agim krasniqi.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Agim krasniqi.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. –Drilnoth (T • C • L) 01:25, 30 August 2009 (UTC)Reply
