Good to meet you on Wikipedia. Thanks for the comments on PBC -- now "primary biliary cholangitis". I hope we can continue to improve that page. You appreciate that it needs to work at several levels: the general reader, the patient with the disorder, medical students and indeed experts. Importantly it is an article for an encyclopedia, and on WP there is a lot of advice on style, what WP is and what it is not. There are long-standing, prolific editors who are correctly watching out for single-topic advocates who may not have a neutral point of view. (See WP:ADVOCACY and WP:NPOV for details).

Start by making small neutral edits and look at other articles and how edits are made and received. This Biomedical citation maker is quite a good reference tool for journals indexed by PubMed.
