@NJD-DE: Hi, thanks for following up regarding the edit I made on the Justin Chart page [1].

I am an acquaintance of Justin and am not paid. I have been interested in contributing to Wikipedia articles for some time, and this happens to be a page that I see ample opportunity to add more valid information as I am knowledgeable on the history.

My profession includes copywriting in the technology space, so I understand all too well how accurate and reliable information is. I understand how my proximity to Justin could potentially create a bias, and I go to great lengths to create edits with objective information and no violate the COI guidelines (I will state my relationship in the description of my edits moving forward as advised in the guidelines). For instance, in the "Born" field (in the Background information box on the Justin Chart article), you will note that it says "1959/1960 (age 61-62)". I am not sure why there is still a discrepancy here, but it is a fact that no person can have two birth years (unless the age quantification is being weighed on two different calendars or time continuums. Unless otherwise specified, all dates should be using the Gregorian calendar, which we use in our the current civilization). This is just one example of information that can be improved upon that I intend to contribute. I want to reiterate that I intend only to contribute objective information backed by valid sources.

@Orangemike: Hi Mike, Thanks for the info. "Corporation Solutions" is not a company, group, or entity. It's a name I created as a form of satirizing bland corporate culture.

I noticed you incorporated the color orange because you like the color orange. Similarly, my username is just a means of showing my personality by showing that I'm keen on generic names by inventing a meta-generic name.

Is that okay?

Part of the problem is that "solutions" is a bad word around here, because of its abuse. See the essay "On Wikipedia, solutions are mixtures and nothing else". --Orange Mike | Talk 19:54, 9 February 2022 (UTC)

Decline reason:

There is at least one entity according to a google search called "Corporate Solutions". This name sounds like an advertisement, even if you don't mean it as one. I might suggest that there are ways to incorporate this into a more individualistic username (i.e. "corporate solution person" or something like that) or even making "solutions" lower case might help. The community wants an atmosphere of it's norms being taken seriously. If it looks like someone is taking them lightly, and is subverting them to express their individuality, in only hurts the collective sense of propriety. That's even if you're here to build an encyclopedia, and are essentially well-intentioned. It won't matter, and appearances will. You will complain how that's clearly not a very englightened mentality, and will be told that you're high-maintenance and self-important. Then you will became frustrated and conclude how Wikipedia is kind of terrible. To avoid all of this, and to learn how wonderful and not terrible at all Wikipedia in fact is, you need to change the username. tw^sabin 20:07, 9 February 2022 (UTC)
